Emily is a producer and director

at 371 Productions and has assisted

in producing short and long-form documentaries, virtual reality

experiences, podcasts, mobile apps,

most recently, the “Ashe ‘68” VR experience, screened at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. She is the co-creator of the fiction series Black Girl Training, which won the first annual Keep It Colorful campaign with Seed and Spark and is now being Executive Produced by Mary Ann Marino. Emily was also a facilitator at the 2018 Mozilla Festival in London and was on a SXSW panel for a new WebVR experience, The Colored Girls Museum. She is a finalist in the POV Spark competition for a short doc about her adopted brother. Her

career started in 2014 with a full ride

to the University of Wisconsin -

Milwaukee’s Film Program where

she served as student

body president.

Santana Coleman has been a

content creator since 2013 and

graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a BA in Media Studies. She is the Co-Producer on 371 Productions feature-length documentary, ‘When Claude Got Shot,' an intimate viewing on how gun violence disrupts the lives of 3 black families in the city of Milwaukee. A member of the Milwaukee Filmmakers Alliance, she also serves on the board of their Diversity Committee hoping to support up and coming filmmakers of color. Since May 2018, she has been developing 'Black Girl Training', a comedy series exploring transracial adoption, identity, and what it

means to be black. Santana

SANTANA COLEMAN

Executive Producer

Mary Ann Marino’s early career was

launched on MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO and

EVEN COWGIRLS GET THE BLUES with Gus Van

Sant and Laurie Parker. Soon after, she became the

Senior V.P. of Production at Tim Burton Productions where

she was a producer on MARS ATTACKS, oversaw JAMES AND

THE GIANT PEACH and helped develop THE CORPSE BRIDE. 

After the closing of TB Productions, Marino’s creative producing career flourished on short-form assignments with directors like Ang Lee, Alejandro Gonzalez Inñaritu, Mark Romanek, Emmanuel Lubezki and Lance Acord. In 2007, Acord brought her on to run Park Pictures West in Los Angeles where she led them from a boutique spot shop to a top industry contender. Marino’s work at Park earned an Emmy, multiple Cannes Film Lions, UK Shots awards and prestigious Camerimage awards. At Park, she produced the indie feature PERMANENT with writer/director Colette Burson which stars

Patricia Arquette and Rainn Wilson. Most recently, Marino

served as the Head of Physical Production at Amazon Studios Original Movies.At Amazon, she oversaw advanced

development and production for 44 original and

acquired feature films, including the Oscar-winning

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA

and Oscar-nominated THE BIG SICK.

film to radio and virtual reality. Its focus is on

projects that address vital social issues of our time.

371’s work has been recognized with awards ranging from national Emmy nominations and Duponts to Peabody awards. Its work is shown on PBS, cable television, film festivals including Sundance and Tribeca, and on journalism websites like the Washington Post and The New York Times. 371 proudly dedicates itself to supporting the voices and careers of women and storytellers of color as well as filmmaking from our home base of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 371’s team for this project is diverse in terms of

 race, age, and gender.
